Banks Statement on Protests in RussiaCongressman Jim Banks (IN-03) this morning issued the following statement regarding protests in Russia: “Russia’s crackdown on peaceful protests is shameful, and Vladimir Putin is once again acting like a bully on the playground. Our government and its leaders must affirm basic American values like free speech and the right to peaceful protest by voicing unequivocal support for the Russian people.
