Rep. Jim Banks Recognizes National Catholic Schools Week

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Jim Banks (R-IN) released the following statement on National Catholic Schools week.

Said Rep. Banks, “Catholic education is steeped in centuries of tradition and academic excellence, all while instilling in their students the value of service and Christian morals. Indiana’s third congressional district is blessed to be home to two Catholic high schools and 20 elementary and junior high schools.  This week we celebrate their contributions during National Catholic Schools Week, and thank the students, faculty and clergy at these institutions for their works in our community.  “Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed” is a worthy theme that should speak to every Christian heart, and I pray God watches over all of them during this special time of the year.”
