Background
The USS Indiana (SSN 789) is the newest Virginia-class attack submarine and the 16th to join the fleet. The submarine can operate in far corners of the world’s oceans while going undetected. The Indiana’s adaptability allows it to change mission requirements and be ready for any conflict at a moment’s notice. This will be the fourth ship to bear the name Indiana.
