Banks Receives NFIB “Guardian of Small Business” Award

Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03) was today named a “Guardian of Small Business” by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).

Congressman Jim Banks is presented with the NFIB’s “Guardian of Small Business” Award by NFIB President Juanita Duggan

“Jobs and a strong economy are created by Main Street USA, not by politicians in Washington,” said Banks. “I’m proud to support policies in Congress that empower small businesses and free enterprise, and I will continue to do so on behalf of hard-working Hoosiers.”

The NFIB award is granted to lawmakers who vote consistently with small business on the key issues identified by small business owners. Those who voted with small business on key issues 70 percent or more of the time during the 115th Congress have earned the NFIB “Guardian of Small Business” Award.
