Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03) today released the following statement after the Bureau of Economic Analysis released its report on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the second quarter of 2018:

“Today’s news is more proof that our Republican pro-growth agenda is working. With economic growth above 4 percent and unemployment at historic lows, it’s clear that our economy is booming. Congress must continue to build on this momentum by making the tax cuts for individuals and small businesses permanent, and further rolling back harmful regulations.”
