Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03) this morning issued the following statement regarding U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions visiting Fort Wayne today:
“We welcome the Attorney General to Fort Wayne and look forward to hearing his comments on immigration reform. Without question, our nation’s immigration policy is outdated, our system needs reformed and our border must be secured. Any solution to these challenges must include true border security and move away from misguided policies like chain migration toward a more merit-based approach. Hoosiers want Congress to work with the Trump administration to fix these problems, and I am committed to doing so.”
