Banks Statement on Chemical Weapons Attack in Syria

Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, today released the following statement about the chemical weapons attack in Syria over the weekend:
“The Assad regime has once again committed horrific war crimes against its own people. The international community cannot sit idly by while innocent men, women and children continue to be murdered by chemical weapons. I urge President Trump and administration officials to work with our allies to hold the Assad regime, and those who prop it up, accountable for this evil.”
