Banks Sends Letter to Withhold Pay During Government Shutdown

Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03) today sent a letter requesting to suspend his pay until an appropriations agreement has been reached and the government shutdown is concluded. Dear Mr. Kiko, I have been informed that despite a lapse of appropriations and current government shutdown, Members of Congress will continue receiving their salary.
