ADVISORY: Rep. Banks to Host Third Annual Defense Summit

Fort Wayne, August 2, 2024

Congressman Jim Banks will host the third annual Northeast Indiana Defense Summit on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

WHAT: The Northeast Indiana Defense Summit is a half-day forum in support of Northeast Indiana’s defense industry. Speakers and attendees will include lawmakers, local government officials, defense industry and technology leaders, and economic development leaders.

Senate Armed Services Committee Ranking Member, Sen. Roger Wicker; L3Harris Technologies CEO, Chris Kubasik; and venture capitalist and Co-Founder of Palantir, Joe Lonsdale will headline the event. Representatives from AM General, Ultra Maritime, Rolls Royce, L3Harris, Allison Transmission, and more will be represented at the third annual summit.

WHERE: Purdue Fort Wayne, Walb Union International Ballroom, 2101 E Coliseum Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46805.

WHEN: The event is scheduled to begin at 8:30 am and conclude at 1:00 pm. Rep. Banks will hold a media availability immediately following the conclusion of the summit in the Walb Union International Ballroom foyer.
