Rep. Banks Leads Colleagues in Letter Calling for Prosecution of Netflix for “Cuties”
Washington,
September 17, 2020
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Jim Banks (R-IN) and 33 of his Republican colleagues sent a letter to Attorney General William Barr asking him to prosecute Netflix executives for distributing the film “Cuties”—which meets the legal definition of child pornography. “Cuties is child porn and Netflix should be prosecuted for distributing it. The vast majority of Americans agree with me, which is why Netflix’s cancellation rate has skyrocketed,” said Rep Banks. “Americans are shocked to see this foisted on our children, and so are my 33 Republican colleagues who’ve signed this letter. But no Democrats. They seem more inclined to defend Cuties than criticize it. That raises some alarm bells.” Co-signers: Van Taylor, Paul Gosar, D.D.S., Ralph Norman, Greg Murphy, Tom Tiffany, Jeff Duncan, Troy Balderson, Chris Stewart, Doug LaMalfa, Chuck Fleischmann, Randy Weber, Ted Budd, Pete Olson, Ron Estes, Fred Keller, Vicky Hartzler, Doug Lamborn, Brian Babin, Greg Gianforte, W.
