Rep. Banks Statement on Noble County Coronavirus Case

FORT WAYNE – Rep. Jim Banks (IN-03) released the following statement:

“Our office has become aware that an individual at Parkview Noble Hospital has been diagnosed with COVID-19,” said Banks. “We’ve also learned that the East Noble School Corporation learned of the development and notified families and staff this morning that the infected individual does not have school age children.”

Banks continued, “As such, my office reached out to Parkview Health, the Noble County Health Department and East Noble School Corporation. We’ve requested regular updates on the new coronavirus case and offered any assistance our office can provide.”

Late Friday and over the weekend, the office of Rep. Jim Banks sent constituents preventative tips from the CDC on how to practice good hygiene and fight the spread of coronavirus. The update also included instructions on what to do if someone begins experiencing symptoms of coronavirus, information for travelers and more. That information can be found at banks.house.gov/covid-19/ and will be updated regularly to reflect the latest information.
